Everyday Rituals

Wear It Well

Simple habits that protect metal, stones and settings between visits.

  • Last On, First Off

Put jewelry on after lotions, perfume and hairspray, and take it off first at the end of the day.

  • Keep It Dry

Remove pieces before swimming, bathing or cleaning. Chlorine and household chemicals dull gold and loosen settings.

  • Mind the Knocks

Take rings off for the gym, gardening or heavy lifting — even diamonds can chip on a hard edge.

  • Store Separately

Keep each piece in its own soft pouch or compartment so harder stones never scratch softer metals.

The Three-Minute Clean

Once a week, give your everyday pieces a gentle bath. It lifts the film of skin oils and lotion that makes diamonds look cloudy.

  • Soak for 2–3 minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap.
  • Brush gently behind the stone with a soft baby toothbrush.
  • Rinse under warm running water — with the sink plug closed.
  • Pat dry with a lint-free cloth; let it air-dry fully before storing.

Care FAQs

It’s safe for most solid diamonds in gold or platinum, but never for emeralds, opals, pearls or treated stones. If in doubt, bring it to us — it’s complimentary.
